Mellow

Well fock. Guess what--I am impressed.

It sounds so mellow and... mysterious? Uncertain? I don't know how to describe it. Anyway, the mix of instruments and the overall quality is really great! The guitars certainly doesn't suck, I tell you. You got the volume levels on everything just right.

The track had my full attention from the beginning 'til the end. Damn, you ought to stop making 10 star tracks!

NO FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, NEVER STOP! :O

Your refrozen friend. Meow.

Lublub194 responds:

Aweeeesome. I had major doubts about this, simply because most songs that are based off synthetic guitars generally suck. So I'm glad you didn't think this one did.

I'll be putting more of my ideas from my guitar into songs, so keep updated for my latest ideas.

You're friend not frozen... :D

Dark and heavy as fuck

No words can describe the massive feeling this track mashed into my head! Perhaps the mastering could have been a bit better BUT THIS IS GREAT. This is great.

That's all.

Lublub194 responds:

Wellll, good I think...

Nagging for the win

I love it when you "nag" about life because you always make awesome tracks when it happens. *smiles carefully*

The song is calm and emotional. And well, it sounds great. 10 for you!

Lublub194 responds:

Haha, Nagging is a shitty price to pay... well. More what nagging about.

Heck I look back at my past music, and in each one, I can sense some different feeling behind it, and each one I can relate my current life to. So I suppose nagging is all just a part of life.

I'm glad that you liked the song however. I thought it turned out nicely.

Dark as hell

Holy skat! This is so dark and ominous... Argh, the feeling! Now I'll have to listen to some happy hardcore dance for a while to lose it!

I like that wobble thingy effect (whatever it can be called) that appears every once in a while. And all these other subtle sounds... I just love it. Like Lamp said: the atmosphere is great!

10 for sure!

Lublub194 responds:

The wobbly thing was an edited patch entitled black hole. I think... anyways. Yeah. It's full of creepiness.

It was one of the first songs that had so many textures in it. There are a total of 4 textures and 3 different melody tracks and the bass plus the drums. It was absolutely loaded with stuff.

Anyways, I'm glad you liked it :D

Something's missing

It doesn't have to be much. I think some light bright distant drums would do the trick. But except for the repetitiveness, this is really relaxing; a great sequel to "Someday I'll Show You A Beautiful World".

A 10 for nice ambient music. -1 for extreme repetitiveness.

Lamplighter responds:

Hmm... you know what, I'm going to go back and remake this. I'll shorten it up, throw in some variation, and probably mess around with some subdued percussion.

Thanks for the review, I hope I'll have the edit done today :)

Wobble wobble wobble

The bass sounds pretty sweet, but I think you could make it more badass as it got weaker after listening to it for a while. Make it scream in your face how freaking badass it is! :3 Maybe it just need better references. I think the hard kick takes away some of it's power.

As for the rest of the song... I do find it a bit generic. It's a generic house track with a wobble bass, simply put. For the right situation, this is great music! So, a solid 8 for you.

*wobbles*

Btw, the current score is way too low. :/

Demeanor-Ice-Creamer responds:

Okay, I'll see what I can take from your review!

Thanks for the eight.

After four 0 votes, I thought maybe it was a mistake uploading it and that I was the only one who liked it, so thanks for saving face!

DIC

Simple, but bad ass!

Ouch! Now there's acid on my ears! AND I LIKE IT!!!

But seriously... now you can't say I didn't review it! :D

Here's some more exclamation marks for you: !!!!! !!! !! !!!!!! !!! ! !!!!! !!! !!!!! !! !

Lublub194 responds:

Long time... really late review =P

This song was posted in 08 :O

This was a rare fluke of my first song. Beginners luck I suppose :D

Thanks for the review man :D

Omigosh!

I agree with the previous reviewer. Lamp + Lublub = Great music!

It's a little sad though...... I got nothing to complain about D:

Nice work, you two!

Lamplighter responds:

It seems that classical music is my little depression zone, cause everything involving a piano and strings like this has been sad... but oh well. It gets me through the night:P

Thanks for your opinions! I'm not sure whether Lublub has seen this song uploaded yet, but I'm sure he appreciates your kind words just as much as myself :D

Freaking badass

I wouldn't call this DnB. It's more like acid techno.

Anyway, the tempo is great. I like how it sounds like the end of every measure (I think) is missing; like the loops are a bit faster than your song. (Don't know how to describe it...)

I don't know what more to say than that it's badass as hell. It's too short dammit! *demands moar* :O

Lublub194 responds:

Like I've said already. I dunno if I'll make more. I'll think about it.

Glad you liked it though.

As ambient as it can be

What the...? I'm quite sure I started listening to the song, but then I suddenly woke up and the song was over. lol

This sure is perfect ambient music! Great work :D

Lamplighter responds:

Haha! I actually used it to fall asleep to last night. At least it serves a purpose! Thank ya very much for the review :3
