There are currently several problems with the Audio Portal, of which some would require minimal effort to fix.
The problems
1. Voting before listening - Some people think that listening to the first 10-15 seconds of a song is the same as listening to the whole song. If they don't like that part they vote low, even though the song might get better later.
2. Broken links - The "More Latest Submissions" and the "More Best Tracks" links on the main AP page leads nowhere. I can't understand why. Is this because of the last NG design update?
3. 0-voters - Simply people (immature kids?) who like to vote 0 on everything they see, especially new submissions. Only the more popular artists gets more correct scores on their songs.
The solutions
1. The user have to listen to the whole song before voting is even possible.
2. The NG crew just have to create these pages and fix the links. Not much more to say there.
3. One solution could be that if a user votes 0 on many submissions, it's reported to a moderator, who can then decide if it's a 0-voter or not. If so then he/she can ban the user from voting and undo the user's votes.
Please help us who use the AP to improve it and make Newgrounds a better place for musicians. Thank you.
Update 2009-03-14: I contacted Tom about the broken links. He says that he wants them fixed too but it never seems to happen. They are going to get fixed sometime but no one knows when. :/

I did some searches to make sure I wasn't the only one who can never get those links to work at the bottom of the page. It seems like the fix would be incredibly simple, it's really annoying that they have neglected this for so many months.
