Nice

It sure is happy as hell, but I think this song would get much better if it was faster (and longer). And I don't know what that thing in the very end was, it didn't sound good at all. Oh well, I enjoyed listening to it. So keep up the great work! :D

ZiggyZack99 responds:

It is fast! Also, yeah, I just can't get the fluke at the end to dissipate. Sorry.

1000 A.D. huh?

I don't know if mean that the sound sounds kinda old, like from an Atari game or something, but whatever. :) Anyway, it's quite a calm piece. But the volume seems higher in the beginning than the rest of the song. And... I don't know what else to say. Great work!

ZiggyZack99 responds:

Hmm, I see. It does seem louder there than the rest. I wonder why I didn't notice that before....

Awesome

It's a bit repetitive, but nothing too serious. I think the song would get better with some water sounds, like some waves or bubbles in the background. But anyway, it's nice to listen to. Good work on this one.

ZiggyZack99 responds:

They're muffled as if they were underwater.

Lawl

It's more annoying than nice to listen to, but in a fun way. I have never heard anything like this before.

Lol again :)

ZiggyZack99 responds:

Thanks, but why in heck is it so funny?

Lol, a story :D

You mentioned green and blue in the story. But they're both cold colors... *freezing* :) Anyway, I enjoyed the song throughoutly. But as you said, something is missing. I have no idea what though. Very good work on the flute, guitar and the drums. The melody sounded somewhat Chinese, or something, at some places. Can't wait to hear more from you! :D

Lamplighter responds:

Green and blue.. cold colors? Dang it. Going from cold and dull to just cold isn't a huge difference. :) I should add some yellow and stuff later. Thanks for pointing that out!

Oh, wait, I just got the joke. Cold colors, ReFreezed... haha... I'm slow. :)

I'm glad you liked this, though! I'm still stuck on this song... I changed around some drums and made it a bit longer, but I still haven't found that missing link. I think I'll play around with putting a piano or something in during the second half, and maybe another harmony around the beginning. I don't know.

The reason it might have seemed Chinese is because the flute is actually an Asian instrument called a Ban di (I didn't even know what that was until I made this song) so it should have an Asian sound to it. The guitar also sounds a little Chinese, but I have no idea why.

Anyways, thanks for the review ReFreezed! I'll let you know when I finish this. :)

Well... good, I guess

It gets a bit boring at some places, but it's probably just me :P . It actually gets better the more you listen to it. I liked the change of the song at 1:50, and how you used the synths throughout the song. And that random scream in the middle, lol. Great work!

Why Denmark btw? :)

ThunderHorseL responds:

Denmark Rocksss! :D

*yawn*

It kinda good. But it's sooo slow in some places and it gets really boring, especially in the beginning and the end. I was waiting for something great to happen, but nothing did. You did an OK work on this one :/

Soullink responds:

Alot of what I initially wanted to do with this piece got lost in the lack of time and the need for specific things for the show. Thinking about remastering it so that I don't have to intentially make parts that don't move the piece. It was designed for the cutting board. You're right though. Perhaps a version two will come soon...

A bit boring, maybe

It got some Castlevania feeling over it. I liked how the bells and the organ made it kinda dark and ominous. The oboe was just so sad (in a good way). The title fit's the song perfectly. But the choir really wasn't the best. Great work anyway!

Soullink responds:

It's gotta be the organ. I've never seen the castlevania in any of my pieces but after playing the recent one and some of the older ones I see the point. I really do have more up beat songs coming up... just they aren't finished it.

Wow

I really like the way you work with the instruments. You did best on the organ and the strings. Great work on this one!

Soullink responds:

Woooow. I am terrible at responding. Strangely enough I started making this piece off of the organ and the strings so the fact that they come off the most polished doesn't surprise me.

It's quite good

So sad. :'( It would fit perfect for a movie or game. But it's way too short. It could really be extended to something much better. It simply needs more. More instruments, more power, MORE. Nevertheless, I liked it.

Soullink responds:

You're right. I really should turn this into an actually song. lol. Infact, I think I will. Thanks.
